2013 Diaconia as seen as an associate

From May 9 – 11, 2013, more than 12,000 persons gathered in Lourdes, France, as the result of a three year process which invited Catholics in France to suggest concrete initiatives embodying fraternity and sharing with the most vulnerable.

(...) 12,000 persons participated, one third in a precarious situation.  These persons, because they could give their speech, understood that they also could become, in their turn, actors of solidarity. (...) To encounter the poor is to encounter God.  Was this not the ideal of Jérôme Le Royer and Marie de la Ferre. Thus, this dynamic continues to motivate RHSJ and associates, to mobilize us to walk in the footsteps of our Founders in actualizing our charism.''
